We believe every donor has the right to:

1. Be informed about the organization’s mission, programs, and how donations are used.
2. Know the identity of those serving on the Board of Directors and expect them to exercise prudent judgment.
3. Have access to the organization’s most recent financial statements.
4. Be assured that gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given.
5. Receive appropriate acknowledgment and recognition.
6. Be assured that information about donations is handled with respect and confidentiality.
7. Expect that all relationships with individuals representing the organization will be professional.
8. Be informed whether those seeking donations are volunteers, employees, or hired solicitors.
9. Have the opportunity to have their names deleted from mailing lists.
10. Feel free to ask questions and receive prompt, truthful, and forthright answers.
